Today I want you to take a look at few scenes from my storyboard for Polish video clip "Uprising". This video is a tribute of Swedish rock band Sabaton to all Poles who fought against Nazi Germans during Warsaw Uprising in August 1944 (And against Stalin-led Russian troops waiting until Warsaw is bled to death. At the same time we could see England and USA turned away from Poland as a result of Teheran Conference in November/December 1943 which decided about Russian control zones in Central Europe. Compare with gen. Wladyslaw Sikorski's death over Gibraltar, Yalta Conference, Potsdam Conference).
This very video clip tells the story about fighters from Wola (one of Warsaw districts). Within only 3 days of Uprising German units commanded by Erich von dem Bach-Zelewski who was in command of the German units (Peter Stormare) killed almost 60 000 people, including women and children. Sabaton and Peter Stormare (privately friends) wanted to give Warsaw a chance to tell about its history out loud while most of entire Europe don't know ANYTHING what happened here during WW2.
Please, do not identify Warsaw Uprising on 1st August 1944 with uprising of Jews in Warsaw Ghetto. These are Completely different things.
